What is the Linksys adapter ?

It is a plug and play device that allows you to send signals to Virtual Monitoring over the Internet from alarm panels or digital communicators using many alarm protocols. Plug the alarm panel into the Linksys ATA at one end, plug the other end into your modem/router and you are done.

The Linksys VoIP adapter comes complete with a mains adapter rather than taking its power from the alarm panel.

Where can I purchase a Linksys VoIP Adapter ?

Wherever you like. They are readily available on eBay or at many high street or online retailers. We do not sell Linksys adapters directly, however, you will need to purchase our Provisioning Service in order for the adapter to communicate with our servers. The cost for this service is £15. What if my alarm panel has been locked ?

You don't need to worry if your alarm company have "locked" your panel. The adapter overcomes this by ignoring the telephone number and account code already programmed into the panel - it will send signals directly to the Virtual Monitoring web service.
